Choroid plexus cysts (CPC) occur from .18% to 3.6% of pregnancies. They are generally small, benign and transient . They are often considered a variation of normal anatomy in the majority of cases.
Most obstetricians will recommend a high level ultrasound to be sure no other abnormalities exist along with blood serum screening .
They often disappear on follow-up ultrasounds by 23 to 24 weeks gestation.
Consult with your obstetrician to determine when further investigation, such as an amniocentesis is warranted.

I'm currently preggers with baby #2 while being employed at Starbucks. I was so sick in the first few months with each that I was able to kick my coffee and soda habit no problem, but once I get past that stage I crave them way worse then I ever did before I was pregnant. I find that people give me a hard time when they see me drinking anything caffinnated at work, so that helps to keep my intake down. my first child was healthy no problems, but we've found cysts in the brain of my 2nd baby. Caffiene induced? doubtful, as it seems to be common and not much to worry about, but sometimes I wonder if it's my fault...
