The letter to the editor is entitled Pesticide Residue in Lanolin by Dr. Sheldon Wagner, Cynthia Copland, PharmD, and Marsha Roebel, PharmD
In this letter you will see a chart listing an analysis of the pesticides and their percent detected in lanolin from products currently used on the market today.
I quote directly from the article,”Pesticide residue in lanolin is of concern to all of us, especially in the findings of the organophosphate pesticides chlorpyrifos and dimpylate and the organochlorine compounds alpha and beta BHC and DDE.
It seems unnecessary knowingly to apply toxic chemicals directly to the skin, and in the case of breast fed infants, to directly feed toxin to a baby via the lanolin present on the sore nipple.”

Are you able to direct me to research-based articles related to pesticide warnings with use of purified lanolin products for breastfeeding mothers. There has been some debate on this topic at our local hospital, though I have not found current research-based articles as you have described.
I truly appreciate your feedback and would like to get the most current information available, but I do need research-based articles. Do you have articles on the safety of your product, as well?
