Being an obstetrician, I have the greatest job in the world. Pregnancy and delivery is undoubtedly one of the supreme highlights in a woman’s life and I have the distinct pleasure of being able to share this moment with my patients on a daily basis.
As a practicing obstetrician since 1982, I have been in a position to witness thousands of women as they experience the physiological and hormonal changes related to pregnancy. As a doctor, I am in a unique position to have access to vast amounts of scientific data and research relating to these changes and their resulting problems. I also know how difficult it has been for women to find high-quality, effective health and personal care cosmetics to address these pregnancy-related issues.
I have always taken pleasure in being able to resolve the daily problems that pregnant women face due to all the hormonal and physiological changes that occur during this time.in their lives. I have always had the desire to reach beyond my immediate practice in Connecticut and have the ability to help pregnant women throughout the country in the same fashion who experience the same problems.
Creating the Beaute de Maman line has enabled me to accomplish this desire. Seeing my products featured in Pregnancy magazine as being one of the top 120 Products of the Year gave me tremendous satisfaction in accomplishing this goal.
In my continuous commitment to ensure that women experience a healthy and worry-free pregnancy, I have achieved two objectives. First, I have developed a unique line of health and beauty products in order to provide safe and effective alternatives to those currently on today’s market. Second, I have created a newsletter to educate pregnant women about the profound changes that are occurring in their bodies.
Beauté de Maman ™ products are superior to those available on the market today because I have had the opportunity to test them on hundreds of my own patients where I was able to receive direct input in order to refine and improve the final offerings. Current products include Stretch Mark Cream, Nipple Gel, Facial Scrub and Face & Body Cream.
I counsel pregnant women on a daily basis, and I am a true believer in taking the time to educate them about their bodies and the profound changes that occur during pregnancy. The Pregnancy Bulletin is a monthly newsletter which offers the latest information on medical conditions affecting pregnant women in easy-to-understand language without a lot of medical terms and scientific jargon. When you have a better understanding of your condition, you can take preventative measures to help you enjoy your pregnancy and to maximize your chances for the ultimate successful outcome — a healthy child.
The first three newsletters address the prevention of stretch marks, acne in pregnancy and mastitis or breast infections. I explain the physiological basis for these pregnancy-related problems, explore the existing remedies and explain the rationale behind the development of the Beaute de Maman ™ products.
